Founder of the Albino Foundation, Jake Epelle, says the concession of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, for persons with albinism still stands and is undergoing verification process. Speaking during an interview on Arise Television on Friday, Ekpelle said JAMB did not issue an outright cancellation of the concession given to persons with albinism. “It’s more or less to pause that concession so that the wrong people will not take advantage of it. It’s not correct to say that persons with albinism were part of the group that was abusing the process or that concession. “One of the technical thing about persons with the biological thing about persons with albinism is that our Iris does rebuff light.
