La Vie Hotels and Resorts has taken over management of an Accor-branded hotel in Queensland, writes James Wilkinson. The company has signed a management agreement to operate Mercure Rockhampton, which is owned by Felix Capital. This marks the second Accor-branded property to join the La Vie Hotels and Resorts portfolio, following the addition of Mercure Townsville in late 2025. “It’s a pleasure welcoming Mercure Rockhampton into the La Vie portfolio,” he says. “We are excited to partner with La Vie Hotels and Resorts on Mercure Rockhampton,” says Michael Maroun, chief executive officer, Felix Capital.
