Prime Video recently released the teaser trailer and premiere date for Young Sherlock, starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin – best known for his role in the After series – as Sherlock Holmes. All eight of Young Sherlock’s episodes will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories across the globe on 4th March. Guy Ritchie previously directed Sherlock Holmes (2009) and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011), both starring Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams.Young Sherlock is the prequel to both of these films. Young Sherlock is expected to reveal an unfiltered, rebellious side to the character, with Prime Video reflecting on his character in the show as a “raw” and “disgraced young man”. Prime Video also describes the series as an “action-laden mystery that follows the iconic detective’s early adventures”.
