Home Depot has announced that it will be laying off hundreds of employees and enforcing stricter back-to-office mandates for its workers. On Wednesday, the Atlanta-based company confirmed to media outlets that it would lay off 800 staff and make corporate employees return to the office for five days per week in the interests of "in-person engagement."
