Hyundai Motor has reportedly begun testing humanoid robots at its automobile manufacturing facilities in the United States. The South Korean automaker also revealed the production version of the Atlas humanoid robot during its CES 2026 keynote in Las Vegas on January 5. However, last week, Hyundai Motor’s labor union in South Korea strongly opposed the company’s plans to deploy humanoid robots in factories, citing job security concerns.
