As YWT has seen turnover rise from £4 million to £12 million, its old finance system was struggling to keep up with the growth. When Tiffney joined YWT in 2021, the first decision he made was to invest in a new finance system. He adds:The problem we had at that time is, we had an on-premises accounting system so hyper unflexible, the rest of the organization were not involved in the system. Since rolling out its new finance system, YWT has already seen a raft of benefits. In its finance system, for example, the charity has been discussing the potential for automated purchase invoice scanning with iplicit.
