POTTSTOWN — Pottstown Beacon of Hope has been awarded a $1,500,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to support its Permanent Housing and Resource Center at 601 West High St. This investment will advance Pottstown Beacon of Hope’s mission to provide safe, stable housing paired with critical supportive services for individuals experiencing housing insecurity, according to a press release. The Permanent Housing and Resource Center will serve as a cornerstone for long-term stability, connection to care, and pathways toward self-sufficiency for some of the community’s most vulnerable neighbors. “This is an exciting evolution, and it reflects our continued focus on stewardship, accountability, and responsible growth as we transition from a seasonal initiative to a permanent community establishment.
