"In addition to Sydney, the proponent is looking to supply much of their rock to concrete plants within a half-hour's drive of the quarry site. A 30 minute travelling time from the proposed quarry's location covers major concrete manufacturers in Rutherford, Aberglasslyn, Kurri Kurri/Loxford and potentially Cessnock and Singleton which means there will possibly be many more heavy trucks travelling through Greta, Harpers Hill and Lochinvar towards Rutherford and Aberglassyn, or using Wine Country Drive to access Cessnock via North Rothbury, not just using the Hunter Expressway for deliveries as suggested by the proponent."
