Around 70 pieces of space debris pass by the UK each month whilst, typically, three large chunks of space junk crash to Earth daily. Britain's emergency preparedness teams are monitoring the debris for the unlikely possibility it lands on UK territory. The Chinese rocket had a forecasted re-entry time of 12.30pm on Friday, with a margin of plus or minus 15 hours, according to The Aerospace Corporation's tracker.
