Middlesbrough Council's "front door" children's services received a “focussed visit” by Ofsted on December 9 and 10, 2025.
HM Inspector Nabeel Hussain to Annabel Bates, director of children’s services at Middlesbrough Council, says the visit was carried out in accordance with the inspection of local authority children’s services framework.
“I’d like to thank all staff in children’s services for the commitment they show each day and the professional manner in which they approached the Ofsted visit.
