Leicester business makes 'tough decision' to close workshop after 50 yearsSome residents told the owner he'd only last six months when he set up shop - but he proved them wrongView 4 Images How the site looked in 1986 (Image: Graham Goode)A long-running Leicester business which has been in the same location for 50 years is closing down its workshop. ‌Vehicle repairs shop Graham Goode Motors, which has been listed as a heritage site by Leicester City Council, has been located in Lutterworth Road, in Aylestone, since 1976. However, the business which sells car parts, provides repair jobs, MOTs and specialises in high performance vehicles, is making one big change and moving the business online. ‌Owner of the shop, Graham Goode, is no stranger to high performance vehicles, having been a motorsport racer himself from 1973 to 1994. ‌According to Graham, the decision to close was "tough" for him to make, as it will result in half of the Goode Motors team being made redundant.
