This is their first album for Sacred Bones, a label often associated with a certain kind of cultivated severity. The rhythm locks on, vocals push forward, things just keep moving. Ultimately, URGH doesn’t progress, it pushes down. While there is a philosophical underpinning, like many things on URGH, it is embedded. ‘URGH’ is released 6 February via Sacred Bones Records.
