- Advertisement -LAHORE, Jan 30 (APP): National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) has taken comprehensive measures to ensure uninterrupted power transmission in Lahore during the Basant festival from February 6 to 8, 2026. The company’s spokesman told media here Friday that NGC management has issued necessary directives to ensure swift response to any untoward incident during the festivities. Altaf Hussain Malik stated that Punjab government has permitted Basant celebrations under strict rules and regulations. He further assured that National Grid Company will ensure uninterrupted power transmission system in Lahore and surrounding areas during Basant. The public is urged to take care of their own and others’ lives & property, and to ensure the protection of national installations while celebrating Basant.
