Raytheon has received a $1.03 billion contract modification from the U.S. Army to support year two production of the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor , or LTAMDS.

The Army Contracting Command will obligate $254.6 million from the service’s fiscal 2026 other procurement funds at the time of award.
Previous LTAMDS Contracts Awarded to RaytheonThe recent award builds on a $2.1 billion base contract that Raytheon received in August 2024 for low-rate initial production of the sensor.
That previous contract was followed by a $1.7 billion contract modification in August 2025, bringing the total value of the effort to $3.8 billion.
