Two weeks after receiving a resounding thumbs-down from the Hanover Planning Commission, HHHunt has withdrawn its proposal for a data center development on the Hunting Hawk Golf Club property and other land north of Wyndham. Hanover Supervisor Sue Dibble, whose South Anna District includes the project site, announced the withdrawal during Wednesday’s board meeting. The data center project was the latest attempt by HHHunt to develop the site, which is just across the county line from Wyndham in Henrico. At the planning commission meeting, Roberts said developer interest in the site as a data center campus was presented to HHHunt after the comprehensive plan was updated. HHHunt has owned the bulk of the land since Wyndham was developed in the late 1980s.
