Photo: MistissiniA lockdown has been lifted in the Cree Nation of Mistissini in central Quebec after citizens were warned to stay inside because of a shooter in the community. We stand in solidarity with Chief Michael Petawabano and the entire Mistissini community during this profoundly painful time.”Located on the shore of Lake Mistassini, the Cree Nation of Mistissini is one of the nine communities known as Cree Village Municipalities east of James Bay that comprise the Cree Nation of Eeyou Istchee.
