23 year old Ayla Egotik-Learn has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Alberta.
RCMP are still searching for the remains of her 9 month old daughter.
Learn, who lives in Iqaluit, says he spent two hours speaking with RCMP from St. Albert about the death of Ayla Egotik-Learn, 23, and her nine month old daughter Braylee.
St. Albert resident Christopher William Beasley was “quickly identified as a suspect” according to RCMP and located at a hotel in St. Albert.
RCMP say she and the accused had been living in a St. Albert apartment since April, 2024.
