Edo Governor Okpebholo approves strategic cabinet reshuffle

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved a strategic reshuffle of his State Executive Council to strengthen governance, improve service delivery, and boost administrative efficiency.
The letter stated: “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has approved a minor reshuffle in the Edo State Executive Council.
Yakubu Oshiorenua, previously Commissioner for Lands and Housing, has been appointed Chief of Staff to the Governor at the Governor’s Office.
Gani Audu, the outgoing Chief of Staff, is nominated to serve as Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources, pending confirmation by the Edo State House of Assembly.
Governor Okpebholo expressed confidence that the adjustments would improve coordination, strengthen policy implementation, and enhance governance across the state.
