There's a fancy new burger restaurant on Leeside - serving a tasty menu jam-packed with grub that 'blends Irish, American and Asian cuisine.' The Savora restaurant had a soft opening on French Church Street in the city centre this week, in the same location as the old, much-loved Strasbourg Goose eatery. The burger joint was launched by two friends Bo 'King' Lin and Chef Andy Chen - both from Fujian in China - who have been living in Ireland for over 20 years and met in Cork city. Andy has over a decade of experience as a chef in Ireland, and previously worked at the 350-seat Ely restaurant in Dublin. This is the second new burger joint to open in Cork city in recent months, after the launch of The Smash House on Paul Street late last year.
