North Wales Police, alongside the Welsh Ambulance Service, arrived to find a multi-vehicle pile-up with the eastbound lanes blocked. ‌A North Wales Police spokesperson confirmed that several occupants sustained injuries. ‌The force spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 4.45pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday) to a multiple vehicle RTC on the A55 Eastbound, near J34 (Ewloe Loop).
