A woman has died and three people have been seriously injured following a major crash in the Conwy Tunnel on the A55. Both sides of the expressway were shut and several air ambulances were deployed at the crash scene alongside emergency service teams around lunchtime. The westbound tunnel remains closed but one eastbound lane of the carriageway has been reopened with diversions in place.
