New bronze roseThe Bronze Rose Council, a group made up of 10 Tyler garden clubs, donated $325,000 to the city for the creation of a custom 7-by-6-foot bronze rose statue for the plaza of the Tyler Rose Complex. Cindy Kidwell, co-chair of the Bronze Rose Council, said she helped gather all the clubs to create the Bronze Rose Council, where eight clubs will be working with the Rudolf Rose Collection to help design it.
