CHICAGO — While summer might feel far away amid January’s bitter cold, Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events are prepping for warmer weather by releasing a list of summer festivals and events to anticipate. Citywide farmers markets are coming back, including the Division Street Farmers Market starting May 16 and the Daley Plaza Farmers Market opening May 21. SummerDance and Taste of Chicago pop-ups are also making a comeback with pop-ups across the city.
