MOSCOW — The Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport is keeping its growth-oriented mindset by planning long-term projects that go well into the future.
The plan comes after two major projects completed at the airport like its new terminal that opened in 2024 and an expanded runway built in 2019 which ushered in larger jets on the tarmac.
Mead and Hunt Department Manager Kevin Nuechterlein said they’re keeping that momentum going to identify how the airport can continue to be a resource for the community through strategic growth.
“We’re keeping sustainability at the front of our mind,” Northwest Aviation Leader Kevin Mulcaster chimed in.
Other near-future improvements include creating a parallel taxiway and runway maintenance.
