Local world music practitioner Taras Lumiere is packing up his trio to play in The Chapel at the Sonoma Mission this coming Thursday as part of their “Music in the Mission” series. Lumiere has played The Chapel twice previously and his acoustic-based songs are perfectly suited for the incredibly resonant venue. Vocals are particularly impressive in The Chapel and Lumiere and his trio will deliver there, too. The “Music in the Mission” series benefits the Sonoma/Petaluma Parks, Inc. organization that runs the Sonoma Mission, formally San Francisco Solano Mission. The trio is Dave O’Hara, guitar and vocals; Bo O’Hara, bass guitar and vocals, and bloodline interloper Gary Halter, guitar and vocals.
