SonoMusette, a band of talented Sonoma County musicians, will grace the boards at the Sebastiani Theatre and offer a lovely selection of French Chanson. The players in SonoMusette are Mimi Pirard, vocals; Robert Lunceford, accordion; Jan Martinelli, bas and piano; Isaac Vandeveer, guitar and bass; and Kendrick Freeman, drums. SonoMusette co-founder and accordion player Lunceford has been squeezing the box since the tender age of 7. He has studied with percussionists from Ghana, Congo, the Caribbean, and brings a solid foundation to any style of music the band plays. The show at the Sebastiani Theatre in Sonoma will mark SonoMusette’s 10th anniversary.
