Court orders dogs to be surrendered after long-running noise complaints in WrexhamAn individual has been fined and ordered to surrender their dogs to Wrexham Council after a Criminal Behaviour Order was imposed following long-running and serious noise nuisance issues. Since December 2022, persistent dog barking and associated disturbances at Holly Walks, Wrexham have been reported to the local authority by neighbouring households. Noise recordings and further monitoring in early 2025 confirmed further ongoing breaches, leaving residents exposed to prolonged harassment, alarm and disturbance. At Wrexham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 29 January, the defendant entered a guilty plea to nine offences relating to breaches of a Community Protection Notice. The court imposed a fine of £2,250, court costs of £4,046 and a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) lasting two years.
