A recent report has revealed how Islamic terrorist groups in Pakistan are raising funds in the name of charity and religious donations. To avoid appearing like ordinary beggars and to escape global scrutiny, these groups are constantly changing their fundraising methods. Similarly, another terrorist organisation, Lashkar-e-Taiba, has reportedly shifted to digital wallets to raise funds directly. The report concluded that the ideology driving these terrorist organisations seeks to establish a global Islamic caliphate.
