While several neighbors opposed the short-term rental, the homeowner, two local real estate agents and one neighbor spoke in favor of it, the Powell Tribune reports. Johnson County has not seen a double-digit offering of federal oil and gas leases up for auction since at least 2021, the Buffalo Bulletin reports.
