['Miranda Norris']

The event, held at Worcester Guildhall, followed the national theme of 'Bridging Generations' on Tuesday (January 27), remembering one of the darkest chapters in history.
Beginning at 10.30am, the ceremony was organised in partnership with the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust and featured support from Worcester City Council, the Worcestershire Interfaith Forum, the Worcester Polish Association, and multiple educational institutions.
A poignant performance by students from the Royal Grammar School established a reflective mood for the morning.
The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Dr Matt Lamb, along with the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Dr The Hon Gilbert Greenall CBE, welcomed attendees.
The musical programme continued with "Songs My Mother Taught Me" by Dvořák, performed by the Royal Grammar School students, followed by a keynote address from Reverend Tony Rindl.
