There is a further risk of flooding for counties that were worst affected by Storm Chandra, as they’ve been hit again with yellow rain warnings. 13 counties are at risk of further flooding as Met Éireann and the UK Met Office have issued further rain warnings already on saturated ground. Met Éireann have said that further heavy rain and showers falling on saturated ground, combined with high river levels, will lead to localised flooding, river flooding, and difficult travel conditions. Further flooding risks as rain falls on saturated ground, while lowest temperatures will remain around 1C to 6C. Cloud and outbreaks of rain will affect areas away from the southwest on Saturday, which will see sunny spells and scattered showers.
