A memorial service for Oliwia Wojnowska will be held by the Polish Parish community in Malta. Oliwia, a 13-year-old Polish girl, tragically lost her life after being swept away by powerful waves at Ċirkewwa on Monday evening. She was with her 49-year-old father and 17-year-old brother before she was swept out to sea due to strong winds in Ċirkewwa on Monday evening. After three days of tireless searching, authorities tragically recovered her body from the seabed, where she had become trapped between rocks, with the Civil Protection Department’s divers leading the operation.
