Health and Active Ageing Minister, Jo Etienne Abela, met with and congratulated Grace Gatt on her 110th birthday. According to Gerontology Wiki, Grace was born on 30 January 1916 in Valletta. She became Malta’s oldest known living person following the death of 112-year-old Maria Farrugia on 23rd December 2024. Later, on 17th April 2025, after the passing of 110-year-old Theresa Ryan, Grace became the oldest known living Maltese-born person. She loved cooking, preparing new dishes daily, and was skilled in embroidery, also creating flower arrangements for the wife of the Governor of Malta.
