For his alleged involvement in the murder of a man whose remains were found on December 21 in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo, Alan Francisco “N” was arrested today in Yucatán. This 24-year-old mechanic was located and apprehended as a result of joint investigations between the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the Quintana Roo and Yucatán Attorney General’s Offices, the Ministry of Defense, and the National Guard. The remains of Carlos Felipe Caamal Lucas were found in two suitcases on a dirt road known as the old access road to the community of Santa Elena, Quintana Roo.
