Essentially Bruno - like so many thousands of people across the country - didn’t leave the Labour Party, the party left him. Locally, we’ve had an unprecedented surge in our membership, a huge number of which are disillusioned Labour members. From former MPs to senior local party figures, they have come in search of hope and, let’s face it, we could all do with a bit of that. Nationally and locally, Greens are continuing to be the new home for disenfranchised and disillusioned voters who are in search of real hope for the future. As our numbers grow, so will the hope and the desire for real change.
