Syracuse, N.Y. — Even with Syracuse’s advantage heavily protected late in the fourth quarter, Orange women’s basketball coach Felisha Legette-Jack intently watched her team from the sideline. But after a turnover and a Georgia Tech basket, she stood back up. Fresh off North Carolina snapping its three-game winning streak, Syracuse (17-4, 7-3 ACC) bounced back with a dominant, wire-to-wire 94-70 home win over Georgia Tech (9-13, 4-6 ACC) Thursday night at the JMA Wireless Dome. Syracuse went another 4:30 without scoring, which helped Georgia Tech cut its deficit to 24-18 at the 4:53 mark. While the Orange made eight 3s, they limited Georgia Tech to 4-of-10 from beyond the arc.
