The New Mexico Rural Health Care Delivery Fund has had a significant impact on Hidalgo Medical Services (HMS) by helping strengthen healthcare access, expanding critical services, and supporting innovative solutions for rural communities across Grant and Hidalgo Counties. Congratulations to Savannah Daniels, Hidalgo County’s 4-H Extension Agent, who was recognized at the 2025 National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals annual conference. With more than 40,000 New Mexico youth participating in 4-H programs statewide, these recognitions highlight the vital role Extension professionals play in supporting youth development across all 33 counties. The project’s initial phase includes the deployment of solar photovoltaic systems at two central facilities: the Detention Center and the Starmax Entertainment Center.
