NCCC Cares, city government launch scholarship program for Moro, IP students

THE CITY government, Moro & Indigenous People Affairs Council (MIPAC), with NCCC Cares, signed a memorandum of agreement on Wednesday for the scholarship program for Moro and IP students.
Mayor Sebastian Duterte led the ceremonial signing of the memorandum of agreement, together with NCCC president Lafayette A. Lim.
The signing officially launches the NCCC Cares Scholarship Program for the 11 tribes: Ata, Maguindanaon, Maranao, Matigsalog, Bagobo Tagabawa, Obu Manuvu, Bagobo Klata, Tausug, Sama, Iranun, and Kagan.
Lim lauded the city government and the MIPAC for their collaboration and for supporting the underserved.
“NCCC Cares has already helped students send them to school, some have graduated, and some are working abroad.
