Meteorological conditions indicate that night temperatures are likely to stay above normal, signalling a gradual fade-out of the season’s chill. Other districts reported minimum temperatures hovering between 15.0°C and 17.7°C. Overall, no major change in minimum temperatures is expected over the next five to six days, meaning residents are unlikely to experience intense cold. Meanwhile, the Met department has forecast light rainfall in parts of western Vidarbha, including Akola, Amravati and Buldhana, on February 2 and 3.
