The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has initiated an independent evaluation of bids submitted for Indus AI Week 2026, scheduled to be held from February 8 to February 15, officials said. The evaluation will include bids submitted to the ministry as well as to its allied organizations, including the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and Ignite—National Technology Fund. In addition to the pre-event assessment, the consultant will conduct a post-event review following the conclusion of Indus AI Week. Officials said the assignment will span approximately one month, covering bid evaluation, financial reasonability checks, and post-event expenditure validation. The ministry said the initiative forms part of broader efforts to strengthen governance, transparency, and oversight in the execution of major technology initiatives, while ensuring that Indus AI Week 2026 is delivered within approved financial and operational frameworks.
