The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to partnering with indigenes of the state living abroad to achieve meaningful growth. Okpebholo, who made the reassurance during a dialogue with Edo diasporans on Monday in Glasgow, Scotland, also presented his administration’s vision centred on innovation, transparency, and practical governance. The dialogue, titled: ‘Edo State Global Investment Summit 2025’ was convened by the governor in Scotland from Saturday to Monday under the theme ‘Catalytic partnership: Global funding and local impact’. The dialogue brought together global leaders, investors, and development partners to explore transformative opportunities for sustainable growth in Edo and beyond. The summit brought together key stakeholders, investors, and members of the Edo diasporans to explore investment opportunities and development strategies for the state.
