Gujarat police uncover inter-state child trafficking network, infant shifted to SHE team careAhmedabad Police’s SHE Team rescued a 15-day-old newborn from an inter-state child trafficking network. The development follows a joint operation by the city’s Crime Branch and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), which led to the exposure of a child trafficking network spanning multiple states. The baby was initially handed over to a Child Health Officer soon after the interception to ensure prompt medical examination and protection. Vandana and Roshan have earlier been booked in child trafficking cases in Hyderabad. He added that in this case, Yunus allegedly bought the child for Rs 60,000, kept the baby briefly and then planned the transfer to Hyderabad.
