['Attila Leitner']

He argued that this policy would inevitably lead to higher energy prices and increased living costs for Hungarians as well.
Hidvéghi stressed that the National Petition is unique in Europe, as it allows citizens to clearly express their position on these issues.
He called on all those who oppose financing the war, covering Ukraine’s operating costs, or paying higher utility bills as a result of the conflict to take part.
He urged Hungarians to return the completed petition forms by March 23, emphasizing that collective action is needed to send a clear message.
Hidvéghi concluded by saying the petition is about defending national interests and economic security, and by participating, citizens can jointly send a message to Brussels that Hungary will not pay for the war or Ukraine’s financing.
