Toriano Horton is the next assistant superintendent of finance and operations/chief school business official starting July 1. The District 233 school board unanimously approved his appointment at its Jan. 20 meeting. He moved into administrative roles as assistant and associate principal roles before being named chief school business official. Horton comes to the district with 25 years of experience in public finance. The last 10 years, he has been assistant superintendent of finance and operations at Thornton Township High School District 205.
