Infosys has implemented a range of new technology-powered services for the Australian Open (AO) in 2026, bringing in new ways for fans, players and coaches to connect. Building on its eight-year partnership with Tennis Australia, the partnership taps into the service provider’s generative and agentic AI suite Infosys Topaz. One of the service provider’s latest offerings this year is MatchFeel, which is focused on assisting blind and visually impaired fans in following live matches. Tapping into real-time ball and match data, the service converts on-court movement into tactile and haptic feedback on a physical court service. On the AI front, the mascot Rally was created – a humanoid robot utilising generative AI for “safe, tennis-first interactions”.
