Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has explained why governors across the country are defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). According to the governor, these reforms have made the APC increasingly attractive to state leaders. Sule questioned the outrage that often follows such defections, arguing that governors changing parties should not be seen as a betrayal. He disclosed that the APC recently welcomed its 29th governor, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, adding that the Taraba State governor would also be formally received into the party within days. Sule said more governors are joining the APC because of the tangible impact of Tinubu’s reforms, particularly in revenue generation.
