Protesters rallied in memory of Renee Good and against ICE on Capitol Ave. in front of the State Capitol Tuesday, Jan. 13. HARTFORD, CT — CT Nurses United is organizing a vigil Saturday outside the Capitol to honor and remember an ICU nurse killed in Minneapolis last weekend. The vigil for Alex Pretti, who was shot and killed by federal Border Patrol Agents on Jan. 24, is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. on the north steps of the state Capitol, organizers said in a social media post. “Join healthcare workers and elected officials to honor and remember Alex and all the people impacted by the violence of ICE,” CT Nurses United said in the post. Pretti, 37, worked in an intensive care unit in a VA hospital.
