LANCASTER — The spirit of courage, justice and hope will shine brightly on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m., as the community gathers for the second annual Rosa Parks Day commemoration service at the historic Bulfinch Meetinghouse, at 725 Main St. This candlelight service will honor the enduring legacy of the Civil Rights icon whose quiet strength helped change the course of history. The program will feature a special performances by The Kingdom Voices of Glory Choir, directed by acclaimed recording artist Kirosha Sidelca. Wil Darcangelo, minister of the First Church in Lancaster, pass the Rosa Parks Day bill into law last year. All are welcome to join this meaningful evening of remembrance, music and inspiration as Massachusetts honors Rosa Parks’ legacy and the ongoing work of justice and equality.
