Resident Doctors Give FG Four-Week Ultimatum Over Unmet Demands

advertisementThe Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has issued a fresh four-week ultimatum to the Federal Government to fulfil all outstanding agreements relating to salaries, allowances, and welfare or risk another industrial action.
The NEC appreciated the roles played by President Bola Tinubu, Vice President, Kashim Shettima, Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, and other stakeholders in ongoing negotiations.
Additionally, the Federal Ministry of Finance was said to have confirmed the forwarding of promotion and salary arrears to relevant authorities for processing.
The communiqué further warned of deteriorating labour relations at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, calling for urgent government intervention to avoid escalation.
