advertisementThe Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has clarified that the ongoing crisis within the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a party affair, and not the responsibility of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF). Naija News reports that Sule stated this on Thursday during an appearance on Politics Today, a current affairs programme on Channels Television. “We have asked the party to go and study the situation [in Rivers] and brief us if they need anything from the Progressive Governors’ Forum, because it’s purely a party affair for another state,” Sule said. He revealed that the APC National Working Committee (NWC) had already deployed officials to assess the crisis. That’s the tradition of our party,” Sule said, affirming the APC’s commitment to unity despite growing internal friction in some state chapters.
